Cooperation between Festo and itsme Schultz+Erbse

The two companies have been cooperating for some time in the Netherlands and Belgium. Now, since last April, they have extended the cooperation to Germany.  Due to the corona pandemic, the partnership has been implemented with a slight delay since this month (September 2020).

The cooperation will enable machine manufacturers and operators to benefit from a comprehensive range of products and services.

The trend in factory automation towards great flexibility and high production quality even in widely varying quantities demands product diversity and automation know-how. With their partnership, Festo and itsme Schultz+Erbse now want to offer their customers more in the field of electrical factory automation and motion technology. Both companies have been in the market for around 100 years and are among the most important suppliers in the automation industry. Festo offers over 33,000 products for electrical and pneumatic automation.

Schultz+Erbse GmbH, a member of the itsme group since 2010, supports electrical automation in industry and mechanical engineering in the development and implementation of future-proof manufacturing solutions with itsme Industrial Automation. In addition, Schultz + Erbse offers sourcing services based on an extensive product range of more than two million products and tailored to the needs of industry and mechanical engineering.

During the meeting in September at the main location of itsme in Raamsdonksveer, The Netherlands, Mr. J. Grothues from Festo handed over to Mr. J. Lübker, Country Manger Schultze + Erbse, the Official Partner logo.

The electric alternative for very simple movement and positioning tasks does not require the usual commissioning process that is needed for traditional electric drive systems, which can often be quite complex. It also offers special movement characteristics such as gently cushioned retracting into the end position, or simplified press-fitting and clamping functions.
